One race. Every Arena gym. Same week.
Three races rotate through the season. You race in your own gym, your coach verifies your time, and it goes on the board.
Built for everyday people
Pick a weight from 10 lb. You're racing your last time first, and the people next to you second.
Where you stand
Gamer tags, not names. Age brackets, not birthdates. 18+ only, and only if you opt in.
Time comes first
Your finish time is the headline in CHASE and SOLO. In SHIFT60, your Arena Score is the headline and your time comes second. You pick your weight before the heat (your loadout tier for SHIFT60) and it locks at the start. Placement is always within your tier. If you hit the cap, you rank behind every finisher, by laps and then reps.
Your finish time is the headline in SOLO. In CHASE, it's how far you get in 20 minutes: laps plus reps. In SHIFT60, your Arena Score is the headline and your time comes second. You pick your weight before the heat (your loadout tier for SHIFT60) and it locks at the start. Placement is always within your tier. If you hit the cap, you rank behind every finisher, by laps and then reps.
Arena Score
Arena Score is the work you did divided by the time it took. Heavier loads mean more work, so when you move up a tier your time can get slower while your score goes up. That is why your history stays one line instead of starting over each time you tier up.
Arena Score is the work you did divided by the time it took. Heavier loads mean more work, so when you move up a tier your time can get slower, or in CHASE your distance shorter, while your score goes up. That is why your history stays one line instead of starting over each time you tier up.
Slower by 1:24, but 18% more work per minute. That ranks on the Tier-ups board and keeps your history line going. Most improved only compares results at the same tier.
15 reps short of December, but 18% more work in the same 20 minutes. That ranks on the Tier-ups board and keeps your history line going. Most improved only compares results at the same tier.
Personal bests
A new best only counts against a like-for-like race:
- Same workout
- Same load tier
- Same rulebook version
- No modifications
Change load or modify a movement mid-race and the attempt moves to Open: it stays in your history but is unranked and cannot set a best. A coach can move you to Open at any time with no penalty.
Verified by gym
Official results come from races at an Arena gym, judged and closed by a coach.
Only races a coach has closed reach this site. Every result also carries how it was counted.
- SELF-REPORTED
- You tap your own laps. Counts for personal bests and gym boards.
- PARTNER-COUNTED
- A partner counts reps and confirms laps. Same as above.
- JUDGED
- A judge counts and taps. Also eligible for network records.
Fair play on the improvement boards
Improvement boards reward getting better, so they are built so nobody gains by going easy on purpose.
From your 2nd race
Your first race is your baseline. Improvement is measured from the second race on.
Coach-closed only
A race counts only after a coach closes it.
Three races to appear
You show on improvement boards once you have three verified races.
Gym rankings
Gyms are ranked on improvement, not on who is fastest. A gym's number is the share of its PB-eligible athletes who set a personal best in the last 30 days. PB-eligible means you raced at least twice in that window, so you had a best to beat.
A gym needs at least 10 PB-eligible athletes to be ranked. Smaller gyms still show their numbers, marked unranked, so a handful of athletes can't top the board.
Privacy
- Opt-in onlyYou appear on this site only after you choose to. You can leave any time, and your results come off the public pages.
- Gamer tags, not namesYour public name is a gamer tag you pick. Real names are never shown by default.
- Age brackets, not birthdatesShare an age bracket like 40–44, or nothing at all.
- Gender is optionalShare it to show up in the gender filter, or leave it off. It is never a division.
- Under-18s are never shownMembers under 18 are excluded from every public page and board.
Questions
No. Pick a weight that suits you; your first race sets the time you chase, and first-timers get their own tag on the board.
CHASE has a 40-minute cap. SOLO and SHIFT60 have 35-minute caps. Hit the cap and your laps and reps still count.
CHASE is 20 minutes for everyone. SOLO and SHIFT60 have 35-minute caps. Hit the cap and your laps and reps still count.
Most people haven't. Your coach walks you through the course before the countdown.
Arena Score rewards heavier tiers a lot. Until it has been checked against real results, ranking stays within each tier, by time.
In CHASE, yes: Arena Score ranks every weight together, because everyone races the same 20 minutes. SOLO and SHIFT60 rank within each tier until Arena Score has been checked against real results.
At an Arena gym, with a coach running the heat. Or at home, once Arena Home launches.
It keeps going. Your first race at the new tier is a first, and Arena Score shows the jump in work.
Bests only compare the same rulebook version. Races under an earlier version stay in your history, marked as not compared.
Send your gym owner to the For gyms page. Any gym with a TV and everyday gym equipment can run it.
